Fv032 - Pablo Acenso EP

Released in-between the two-part ‘Chicaboo’ EP from Solead, Flow Vinyl deliver another outstanding track in the shape of Pablo Acenso’s ‘Stop Thinking’. It also continues the label’s strong association with emerging producers on the South American electronic music scene. Pablo Acenso is from Paraná in the Argentinean province of Entre Rios, and has been releasing music on labels like Babylon Records, Per Vurt, Mistique Music and Stripped Digital since 2007. He’s no stranger to Flow Vinyl either having remixed ‘Tunami’ by OMB and Daniel Mehes’s ‘Idleness’ in collaboration with Juan Deminicis.

For his first solo release on Flow Vinyl, Pablo presents another slice of powerful progressive house underpinned by a swinging rhythm typical of his sound. Layers of shifting synths give ‘Stop Thinking’ a wonderful roll that builds and builds before gently coming back to earth.  For those wanting something a little deeper and stripped back, Turkish producer Sezer Uysal steps up to the plate. His ‘Hypnotic’ remix is exactly that adding a trippy edge to the original.

Psycatron, meanwhile, don’t hold back throwing down a full throttle techno version destined to do some serious damage in the clubs. Well known for their live shows, the Irish duo are in fine form here with an action-packed remix bristling with energy and imagination. Once again, Flow Vinyl are ahead of the pack with ‘Stop Thinking’ and two top quality remixes are eithser end of the spectrum.
