FV043 - Pablo Acenso EP

Flow Vinyl turn up the summer heat with two new releases destined for the best clubs and parties on the global dance scene. The first comes from Flow Vinyl favourite Pablo Acenso who has become a major part of the label with two remixes and last years Stop Thinking. This time theres two tracks to choose from, both with the rolling hypnotic groove and dynamic energy that the Argentinean DJ and producer is known for.

At over nine minutes long, Agora is a musical feast where layers of sound are added to the subtle groove to create a rollercoaster ride for the dancefloor. With subtle acid lines and rich synth sounds, theres an old school vibe to the track reminiscent of the best progressive house of the 90s. We stay in Argentina for the remix with Buenos Aires-based Juan Deminicis taking Agora on a deeper, gently melodic adventure, but still with plenty of punch for the dancefloor. Once again, theres a nod to classic progressive with warm synth chords and the hint of a vocal.

Next up is Bugged Out, and as the name suggests, its a trippy affair and the perfect contrast to the peak time qualities of Agora. Sunset or sunrise, Bugged Out will work just as well. Marc Poppcke from Berlin, meanwhile, spaces the track out even further with a remix heading into deep techno territory. An outstanding collection showing the full range of the Flow Vinyl sound.
